Betlanovce village lies on river Hornad in Spisska Nova Ves district. The first written document proofs the existence of the village already in 1311. It become the main Spis´s soldier-base and home of aristocratic family of Thurzov.
The most distinguished monuments are a Renaissance castle from 1568 and a Gothic church. The village offers a lot of restaurants, accommodation and even a campsite.
